Curator’s Note

This archive documents field work conducted across conflict zones and humanitarian crises between 2001 and 2014. The material combines still photography, video, diaries, and operational records gathered during deployments in environments shaped by war, disaster, and political instability. The project focuses on people and place rather than policy, tracing how daily life, work, and movement persist under pressure. The timeline and chapter studies are presented as a working system: incomplete by design, subject to revision, and mapped to risk conditions at the time of capture. The archive is being digitised, sequenced, and structured to preserve context without retrospective interpretation.
