Fogbow on the Merrick Galloway Scotland

A fogbow is a gentle, pale-colored arc in the sky formed when sunlight interacts with tiny water droplets in fog or mist. Unlike a rainbow, it appears mostly white and lacks distinct colors. Fogbows are seen opposite the sun, with the observer's back to the sunlight, and they create a soft and subtle atmospheric display.
